I signed up to be part of the City Daily Photoblog and apparently I don't qualify. Just because I live in Laguna Beach, post a photo from Minneapolis and chose Southern California as my city does this disqualify me?
I just dislike constraints.
Going into Santa Ana, CA today. Don't know if I'll bring back an acceptable photo - that is acceptable to me - but we'll see.

It's not that your photos are not acceptable - far from that - they are very good, but the City Daily Photo community is only about posting a daily photo of one's city.
Each blog has to have the name of a city in it's title (ie: "Laguna Beach daily photo") and must show a new photo everyday.
It's a pretty strong constraint, like you said...
